Earthquake and tsunami strike Japan and Pacific region

Earthquake Caused a major earthquake off the coast of Japan and the subsequent tsunami damage across large areas of Japan, and coastal areas to be alert in all parts of the Pacific region. Accurate tsunami threat reduced, small waves hit Indonesia, the Philippines, the blog live BBC reports, with minimal damage so far, the largest wave is an option. Hawaiian Islands, Micronesia, low in Indonesia, seems to be the main problems in the Pacific region.
In Japan itself, discussed the death toll of 40, but pictures of car assembly, burning buildings, agricultural land and entire villages have been by a wave meter high, pointing out that just a preliminary estimate. Declared a state of emergency and issued the warning after the failures announced by the Authority in the Fukushima nuclear plant.

Earthquakes

CNN is reporting that the small town north of Little Rock has had almost as many earthquakes since late September as it has residents. For the record, Guy has 549 residents and since Sept. 20 the town has had 487 measurable earthquakes. Arkansas is no stranger to seismic activities. CNN quoted Scott Ausbrooks, the geohazards supervisor for the Geological Survey, saying that last year the state had 39 measurable quakes.

Now, I don’t want to go all James Inhofe on this, but I was a bit skeptical to think that manmade activity could cause earthquakes. But then I did a little research and found that drilling of disposal wells near Derby, Colo., caused several quakes in the 1960s. So, it appears this is possible. In fact, there are other investigations about this same thing happening in Trinidad, Colo., about ten years ago and then in north Texas where disposal wells were drilled near fault lines.

The earthquake took place until 8:00 and T-3 miles deep, according to U. S. Geological Survey.
The center is located about 15 kilometers to the east, south-east and Kokomo 0.15 miles to the west and south west of Marion and 50 miles north of Indianapolis,.
There were no reports of damage to Indiana State, but closer to the population center and reported that iron.
