Sullinger’s 40 lead No. 2 Buckeyes over IUPUI (AP)

I can only imagine what was said in the Ohio State locker room at halftime.

Maybe it was the end of finals week that killed the Buckeyes’ mental preparedness. Maybe it was because a game against a team comprised of students seeking degrees from both Indiana and Purdue Universities didn’t seem like it could be a scare. Whatever it was, I doubt anyone imagined the No. 2 Buckeyes (now 7-0) and the Jaguars (4-6) would be tied 35-35 after the first half, or that IUPUI would pull out a 50-44 lead after the first 6 minutes of play in the second.
