Ryan Mallett

Two youngsters added to a group of old running backs. One potential successor to Tom Brady.

And no pass rushers.

The New England Patriots stuck to their traditional draft strategy on Friday – focusing on their ratings of players and not their positions of need and stocking up on draft choices.

They added picks in the first and second rounds next year in the first two days of the draft. But they didn't address the need for an improved pass rush. They finished 14th in the NFL last year with 36 sacks.

Coach Bill Belichick hopes that can get better with help from outside linebacker Jermaine Cunningham, who had one sack as a rookie last year, and others who are still progressing.

Josh Hamilton Injury

Texas slugger Josh Hamilton is expected to miss six to eight weeks after breaking his upper right arm on a headfirst dive into home plate Tuesday, a daring dash the AL MVP later called "stupid."

Hamilton tried to score from third on a foul popup near the Detroit dugout in the first inning. Third baseman Brandon Inge and catcher Victor Martinez both chased the ball, leaving the plate unprotected.

Inge made the catch, then tossed the ball to Martinez, who scampered back in time to tag Hamilton.

Jenn Sterger On Brett Favre Scandal

In an interview with George Stephanopoulos of ABC News, former New York Jets hostess Jenn Sterger talked about how her life was turned "upside down"by the Brett Favre sexting scandal.

Sterger, who allegedly received naked photos and inappropriate phone messages from Brett Favre in 2008, claimed that she is not a "gold-digger."

"I haven't made a dime off anything in this whole situation. Not from the pictures," the former talk show host said. "Not from Favre. I never wanted to sue anyone. That was never an intention of mine."

She also claimed that a Jets employee approached her about Favre and “tried to play matchmaker."

The two-part interview will air on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

Favre was fined $50,000 by the NFL for his lack of cooperation in the league's investigation.

The star quarterback admitted in October that he sent Sterger voicemails, but denied sending naked pictures.

Masters 2011 Opening Practice Round Delayed By Storm

Augusta National has opened its gates after a 45-minute delay to give workers time to clean debris from overnight storms before practice rounds at the Masters.
The storms toppled trees and some power lines across town. There was no word on any damage to the golf course.
Chain saws could be heard from various corners of the course Tuesday. In the final minutes before fans were allowed on Augusta National, numerous carts were hauling away tree limbs. Some marshals were picking up debris from fairways.
PGA champion Martin Kaymer and Alex Cejka were the first to tee off for a practice round. Defending champion Phil Mickelson also was set to play, bounding up stairs to the champions locker room with coach Butch Harmon in tow.

Schiavone

The one in England in June. The other was in Australia in January. It was one of the men, and the other women. There is light at the bar and over the three days with the assemblies (ie Wimbledon) against the very few games under the lights of the Australian Open on hard courts in one day is too long with an abundance of the Convention against Torture and meetings of the Scrum mouse.
The differences between the two major marathon open era is clear. Eisner - Mahua to 11:08 PM. The Schiavone - Kuznetsova "only" 4:44 - which was still open era record of women.
The Eisner - Mahua amazing numbers: 183 games .112 aces of his awareness, along with the stars 215, 515 168 unreturnable service works on love and a fifth, which extends 138 games and lasted for eight hours and 11 minutes.
Women's game only 47 games and 207 aces of the less aware, Mahua. But ballooned in the final group the absolute sound. It takes three hours. And filled with every race Great Britain and exchange control, women's soccer suffered 135 unforced errors. BTW, the winner of Russia's more than a dozen Italian and losers really Kuznetsova won four points (181-177), and Schiavone.
In two games, respectively, in the depth of the third, who won two of the most critical of defeats Kuznetsova, but a very big step in her career nine, and spent three points. When Schiavone - with all its successes and become the creator of evil, for all its strength and conditioning go fat-free to challenge them 30 years old - and do not spend the game in the service games back to back. Finally, the third point of the match, the Italian artist feature accurately hit a shot to score a memorable 4-6 from 0.6 to 1 0.16 to 14 win over the ages.
And quickly rushed to the similarity between two historic tennis marathon that appeared randomly in seven months only, forward. Despite the differences in sex, style and length, and the country - two Eisner Mahua Kuznetsova and shows amazing Schiavone classic grit, perseverance and will, and faith. A testament to the sport, and professionalism, drive to achieve victory, and that the harsh reality of it. Every single witness in the second leg, but the winner of the match.

East- West Shrine Game Preview

East- West Shrine Game Preview:While college football season officially does not mean that we have the opportunity to provide some of the favorite players to watch again. Today we have a chance to match where the East-West Arab NFL draft candidates making their views to improve the draft stock. Consideration could be given to the beginning of the game on the NFL Network at 3:30 Eastern time. I for one love these games, it also gives us the opportunity to look at the perspectives on the different levels of talent to take. It also requires players to do things outside the comfort level, especially quarterbacks. For example, this week, the player Delaware Pat Devlin to take comfort in the center of which is rarely done while in college. So if you're a fan of football and NFL Draft Faculty enthusiastic and set aside some time at the end of this week, this game is to watch football.
Will I keep my eye on several occasions that I have listed below.
Quarterback, Pat Devlin is a step in the competition and also the most offensive adaptation of the place of professional style. Devlin this game provides an opportunity for some questions about his game to respond. Devlin week's debate is the fighting, but I am going to postpone the decision until I saw him in the performance of the game.
Marvin Austin, Austin, coming from one season where he had not seen this area due to suspension. For this season, Austin was on the boards of the Top 10 is great, but concerns the nature of chaos on a yearly basis and its shares fell. I heard that Austin was a great week of practice and scouts think he was a revival of the draft boards do.
Hair Chris I am a fan hair and thinks he has a bright future in the NFL. Is a big baby with a good balance and skill. Should be assisted in this game his name on the card.
Terrell McClain to defend the agreement in South Florida very good week of practice, and it was really a man who falls in love with a team came in April, I'm really excited to get a better look at this weekend to take.
