Australia: Aboriginal Leader Calls For Social Justice Outside Australia House In London

The Rev. Dr. Djiniyini Gondarra OAM, and the leader of a prominent elder of the clan Dhurili Yolngu people of the nation's traditional northern Arnhem Land, a letter to the world media outside the Australian High Commission in London. Nobody was hurt deeply by the indigenous population in the Northern Territory because of the Northern Territory intervention and other policies that violate human rights and cultural rights. Announced Rev. Dr. Gondarra Global Call to Action for the rights of indigenous people, who have a statement signed by former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser and other senior Australian minister. He invites you to the world community to assist indigenous peoples in their struggle. Rev. Dr. Gondarra also met the High Commissioner John Dauth LVO Australia. During a private meeting, and discussed the impact of current government policy on indigenous peoples, and how the international community can support.

   
Rev. Dr. Gondarra in diplomatic visit to Europe, visiting with senior political figures, religious and humanitarian. This included senior United Nations Human Rights Navi Pillay, the Special Rapporteur of the United Nations on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, James Anaya, Secretary General of the World Council of Churches, Dr. Olav Tveit Fykse, and Amnesty International.
