Just in time for the season finale, Torrey—who plays Spencer's older, over-achieving sister Melissa—chatted with us about her own high school struggles, the future of PLL, and Troian Bellisario’s shoes.

How do you and Troian, who plays your sister Spencer on the show, get along in real life?

Fantastically. She’s a really cool girl. We hit it off outside of the show. We had great conversations when we were together filming the pilot. She’s really smart and well read and we both kind of bonded over books that we love. I was very lucky when I found out that she was my sister.
