Girlfriend Gets Violent With Adam Levine in Maroon 5's 'Misery' Video

Girlfriend Gets Violent With Adam Levine in Maroon 5's 'Misery' Video:Adam Levine suffers from various kind of violent plots in the freshly-released music video for Maroon 5's "Misery". The clip supporting the lead single off the band's "Hands All Over" album takes a look at the frontman having to endure the attempts real-life girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna made to kill him.

Thrown through a plate-glass window into oncoming traffic, beaten to a pulp in a bathroom stall, hurled from a great height and shot at with a bazooka are only some of the brutality Adam has to endure in the video. While he escapes without a scratch, his band mates are not as lucky as he is since they are the ones who actually fall victims to the violence.

Talking about this Joseph Kahn-directed video on the set, Adam earlier told MTV News, "It kind of turns the whole idea of the sexual energy between two people - a guy and a girl, a music video, you've seen that a million times - that exists in this video, but it's turning it on its ass and having the girl be the more domineering one who's trying to kill me."

In the meantime, Adam himself and keyboardist Jesse Carmichael have visited Sirius XM Studio on Thursday, July 1, in New York City to chat about the forthcoming album "Hands All Over" and the single."
